Marcus Hill has applied for forty-seven jobs in ninety days. The latest is a night-shift warehouse position. An algorithm rejects him at 9:47 in the morning, before anyone sees his name.
By midnight, Marcus is inside that same warehouse with a gun.
But that is not the story. It is only where the story begins.
Guns vs. Butter is a psychological thriller about three men shaped by the same system and broken in different ways.
Marcus learned to disappear into himself. Devin chose to become the threat the world had already decided he was. Ray tried to keep them both from crossing the line until one decision to walk away from violence set everything in motion.
Two childhood friends bound by trauma are trapped inside a building that still carries the memory of who they were. What follows is intimate, suffocating, and merciless. Every exit has a cost, and the silence between them grows more dangerous by the minute.
The real question is not whether they survive the robbery.
It is what you owe the people who survived the same fire, and what happens when you finally stop paying.
